The Maine Department of Labor seeks a collaborative and strategic Director of Apprenticeship to lead statewide efforts, expand paid on‑the‑job training, and ensure programs meet high standards for quality and compliance.

You will build partnerships with employers, unions, education providers, and workforce boards to strengthen apprenticeship opportunities and respond to industry demand while reporting to state and federal funders.

• Experience supervising staff and managing budgets.
• Familiarity with federal/state grant requirements and reporting.
