VulcanForms Inc. is seeking a Director, Applications Engineering to build and lead the technical function bridging customer requirements with our manufacturing capability.

You will own early technical fit, scope opportunities, and establish trust with customers from first conversation through onboarding and product development. We expect a player/coach who guides a growing team of applications engineers, sets standards for feasibility and documentation, and partners with Commercial leadership on

Formación

• 12+ years in applications engineering or related roles in manufacturing.
• 6+ years in additive manufacturing part engineering.
• Track record building or scaling a technical sales function.
• Able to explain technical feasibility to diverse audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Build, hire, and develop an Applications Engineering team with vertical specialization.
• Set standards for feasibility assessment, design concepts, and requirements docs.
• Own technical qualification of inbound opportunities to filter for fit.
• Oversee first-cut design concepts and feasibility assessments for risks and tradeoffs.
• Create data capture processes to support product development.
• Serve as senior technical partner to Commercial leadership on proposals.
• Ensure customer requirements are captured and translated into actionable docs.
