Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is seeking a Director to lead two teams focused on secure software development and cloud security through education, testing, and consultation.

The role requires building and scaling an AppSec program across a large application portfolio, mentoring leaders, and driving secure design practices. You will partner with development and security teams to codify standards, improve metrics, and adopt AI-enabled security tooling across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, MIS, CIS, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on AI experience in AppSec space.
• Software engineering experience in Java, C++, Python, and/or related languages.
• Hands-on experience with information security and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Differentiates risk and assigns practical severity to detected weaknesses.
• Demonstrates and educates on vulnerabilities to development teams.
• Leads education, testing, remediation methodology; communicates program results.
• Recruits and mentors staff, balances task allocation with talent development.
• Runs enterprise AppSec program at scale with 2,000+ applications and large dev pool.
• Coaches leaders within a high-performing team and promotes continuous education.
• Owns AppSec standards and policies, updates and education.
• Establishes security requirements early in SDLC and advises on new projects.
• Implements and maintains cutting-edge tools for AppSec and cloud security.
• Evaluates AI/ML capabilities for vulnerability detection and code review.
