Stealth Startup in Austin, TX seeks a Director of Analytics and Reporting to lead our Analytics & Reporting function. You will own KPI frameworks, dashboards, and data products, shaping how the company uses data to drive decisions and performance across teams.

The role blends strategy, hands-on analytics, and cross-functional leadership, partnering with executives to align analytics with business priorities and to enable scalable, self-service insights for a broad range of stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in analytics or BI, with 3+ years leading analysts.
• Production-grade dashboards for executive and operations decision-making.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and modeling.
• Proficiency in Python or R for analysis and automation.
• Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Ability to partner with senior stakeholders and tell clear data stories.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Analytics & Reporting team, setting vision, standards, and operating model.
• Own the analytics portfolio: KPI frameworks, dashboards, reporting strategy, and data insight tools roadmap.
• Partner with data eng, product, operations, finance, and leadership to translate priorities into analytics initiatives.
• Define metrics, run experiments, and enable self-service analytics at scale.
• Remain hands-on with high-impact analyses and dashboard design for key questions.
