Job summary

NiCE is seeking a visionary engineering leader to architect and head our AI-driven quality discipline. You will own automation infrastructure, performance engineering, and quality initiatives, building high‑performing teams that set the standard for scalable validation.

This is a strategic leadership role, not maintenance. You will disrupt legacy testing, champion AI-driven test generation, and embed quality thinking across the SDLC, serving as the bridge between engineering velocity and product

Qualifications

12+ years in software engineering or QA with 5+ years in engineering leadership at director or senior staff level.
Hands-on background in test automation architecture and building frameworks from scratch.
Proven track record leading performance engineering at scale and AI/ML system quality.
Experience managing multi‑team orgs (10–40+ headcount) in enterprise software.
Strong communication to translate technical concepts into executive strategy and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

Define and lead AI-augmented quality initiatives across the organization.
Own automation strategy across UI, API, and integration layers; drive scalable frameworks.
Lead performance testing strategy at enterprise scale; set SLOs/SLAs with SRE partners.
Foster People & Org leadership; hire and develop senior talent; align OKRs and career ladders.
Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and R&D to embed quality thinking in the SDLC.
