Job summary

Ford is seeking a Director, AI Program Management, OS, System & Data to lead governance for enterprise AI initiatives at scale. You’ll set stage-gate criteria, ensure delivery rigor, and drive value realization while coordinating across Finance, HR, Product, Engineering, and other functions.

This leader will own the AI portfolio cadence and executive-facing filings. Ideal candidates bring enterprise PMO leadership, experience running multi-workstream programs, and a track record of driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 8+ years of experience in program governance, PMO leadership, or portfolio execution at enterprise scale
• Experience setting stage-gate criteria, delivery standards, or governance frameworks
• Experience running cross-functional councils or steering committees
• Track record of building or running an operating cadence for a large multi-workstream portfolio
• Experience diagnosing at-risk programs and driving path-to-green recovery
• Experience partnering with Finance on benefits realization or value validation
• Strong executive presence and accountability of sponsors and leadership

Responsibilities

• Own AI Big Bet governance standards, stage-gate criteria, delivery expectations, value realization requirements, and coaching across the portfolio
• Run the Agentic AI Business and Technology Councils across functions
• Own operating rhythm for the AI Portfolio—forums, owners, review calendar, executive filings
• Oversee execution of Enterprise and Functional AI Bets to achieve outcomes
• Manage cross-bet dependencies and remove delivery barriers
• Maintain recovery plans when performance targets are at risk
• Drive Finance validation and benefits realization with the Finance DRI
• Escalate when bets cannot self-correct and drive corrective action
