Job summary

Ford is seeking a Director, AI Program Management, OS, System & Data to lead governance, stage-gate criteria, and value realization across the AI portfolio. The role requires experience running enterprise-scale PMO and coordinating across legal, HR, finance, product, engineering, and data teams.

You will own the operating rhythm for the AI portfolio, drive delivery oversight for enterprise bets, and ensure alignment with CEO and Board expectations. Strong leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience running governance at enterprise scale.
• Ability to set stage-gate criteria and delivery standards.
• Demonstrated ability leading cross-functional councils and steering committees.
• Proven track record building operating cadences for large portfolios.
• Strong executive presence and accountability with sponsors and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own AI governance standards, stage-gate criteria and value realization.
• Lead cross-functional councils aligning on decisions across functions.
• Own operating rhythm for AI Portfolio, including forums and CEO/Board filings.
• Oversee execution of Enterprise and Functional AI Bets to achieve outcomes.
• Manage cross-bet dependencies and remove delivery barriers.
• Develop recovery plans and ensure bets use recovery trajectories.
• Partner with Finance on benefits realization and value validation.
• Escalate to leadership when bets cannot self-correct.
