Job summary

Ford is seeking a Director of AI Program Management, OS, System & Data to lead governance and transformation at enterprise scale. You will set stage-gate criteria, drive value realization, and coordinate across Legal, HR, Finance, Product, Engineering, and GDIA to keep the portfolio aligned with strategic goals.

The role requires a proven PMO leader with executive presence, strong cross-functional coordination, and a track record of delivering complex, multi‑workstream programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for this leadership role.
• 8+ years in enterprise-scale program governance or PMO leadership.
• Experience running cross-functional councils and steering committees.

Responsibilities

• Own AI Big Bet governance standards, stage-gate criteria, delivery expectations, value realization requirements, and coaching that drive progress, rigor, and consistency in the portfolio.
• Lead cross-functional Councils—OGC, HR, Finance, Product, Engineering, and GDIA—ensuring alignment on cross-functional decisions.
• Own the operating rhythm for the AI Portfolio—forums, owners, review calendar, and CEO/Board/ELT filings.
• Oversee execution of Enterprise and Functional AI Bets to achieve committed outcomes.
• Manage cross-bet dependencies and remove barriers to delivery, stepping in when blockers exceed a single bet owner’s capacity.
• Maintain path-to-green recovery plans when performance or value targets are at risk and hold bets to the plan.
• Co-own Finance validation standards with the Finance DRI to drive benefits realization and independent value validation.
• Drive corrective action when value or delivery commitments aren’t met, escalating to councils or leadership forums.
