Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks a Director, AI Program Management to govern AI bets, stage-gate criteria, and value realization across the portfolio. You will lead cross-functional councils and define the operating rhythm for the AI Portfolio, ensuring delivery of outcomes while managing dependencies and recovery plans.

The role requires enterprise-scale PMO leadership, governance expertise, and strong executive presence to drive accountability and value realization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 8+ years of program governance or PMO leadership at enterprise scale
• Experience setting stage-gate criteria and governance frameworks
• Experience running cross-functional councils with legal, HR, Finance, and technical stakeholders
• Track record building operating cadence for a large multi-workstream portfolio
• Experience diagnosing at-risk programs and driving path-to-green recovery
• Experience partnering with Finance on benefits realization
• Strong executive presence and accountability

Responsibilities

• Own AI Big Bet governance standards, stage-gate criteria, delivery expectations, value realization requirements
• Run the Agentic AI Business and Technology Councils across functions
• Own the operating rhythm for the AI Portfolio — forums, owners, review calendar, CEO/Board/ELT filings
• Own execution oversight of Enterprise and Functional AI Bets to ensure programs meet outcomes
• Manage cross-bet dependencies and remove barriers to delivery
• Maintain path-to-green recovery plans when performance or value targets are at risk
• Co-own Finance validation standards with the Finance DRI
• Drive corrective action when value or delivery commitments aren't achieved
