Job summary

Continental General is seeking an AI Product Engineering Director in Austin for a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office). The role leads a new software product engineering team and is responsible for end-to-end delivery of AI-enabled platform products that automate operations and streamline data flows.

You will shape a 3–5 year technology roadmap, champion cloud-native AWS architectures, ensure security and compliance, and partner with executives to align delivery with business goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology experience with hands-on work, not just oversight.
• Experience leading multiple engineering or delivery teams and hiring/coaching technical talent.
• Ability to evaluate architecture, integration, platform, and build-vs-buy decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of software engineers, platform engineers, integration specialists, and data/ML engineers.
• Own delivery outcomes end-to-end, and set a 3–5 year technology roadmap.
• Design and deliver automation to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
• Ensure security, governance, and regulatory compliance across products.
