Job summary

Meta is seeking a security engineering leader to direct the Integrity Investigations, Intelligence, and Events (i3E) organization. You will chair a multi-pod team that defends users by shaping strategy, metrics, and cross-functional partnerships with product, policy, legal, and public affairs.

This role emphasizes AI-native workflows, mentorship of managers, and handling high-severity escalations with rigorous risk controls and ethical practices.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of security, intelligence, investigations, or related technical field.
• 8+ years of people management across sites and time zones.
• Proven track record of scaling and developing high-performing teams and leaders.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of transforming how an organization works.
• Experience making data-driven decisions in ambiguous problems.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional leaders in engineering, product, policy, legal, and public affairs.
• Experience developing multi-source, evidence-based findings for senior audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide organizational leadership to a multi-pod investigations organization spanning several harm domains.
• Set and communicate a vision that connects investigative work to measurable reduction in harm.
• Own the strategy and roadmap for investigations across the organization, and ensure prioritization, resourcing, and delivery against it.
• Develop and scale the management and technical-leadership bench by hiring and mentoring managers and leads.
• Drive the organization’s AI-native transformation and redesign investigative workflows around AI capability.
• Define and own the metrics and operating cadence for the organization.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to turn findings into enforcement, product changes, and external communication.
• Represent i3E and its work to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
• Lead the organization’s response posture for high-severity escalations.
• Engage as a member of the leadership team on cross-cutting initiatives.
• Handle exposure to graphic and/or objectionable content.
