Meta's Central Security team is looking for a security engineer who can identify weaknesses before attackers do and then build solutions that eliminate them. Your work will form the foundation of security initiatives that protect the privacy and safety of more than three billion people.

Your role focuses on AI security and native-code security guidance for engineering and product teams, delivering confidence for product decisions and scalable protections across Meta's products.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in security engineering incl. vulnerability research, testing, or security assessments.
• 3-5+ years programming in Python, PHP, Ruby, or similar.
• 4+ years reviewing C/C++ with secure coding.
• Knowledge of security architecture and least privilege principles.
• Experience identifying and mitigating security/privacy risks in internet-facing products.

Responsibilities

• Provide security guidance on new products/technologies.
• Lead internal security/privacy initiatives.
• Analyze, assess, and respond to internet threats.
• Interact with the security community on mobile vulnerabilities.
• Conduct regular security assessments focusing on mobile platform and app code.
