Job summary

EPAM Systems in San Jose is seeking a Director, AI-Native Delivery Management to own delivery and commercial outcomes for a portfolio of AI-native engagements, including complex ones, while mentoring Senior AI-Native Delivery Managers. You will define deliverables, SLAs, and measurement cadences, oversee portfolio risk, and drive hiring criteria and training material.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in delivery management with fixed-fee or output-based engagements
• Ability to run multiple concurrent engagements while personally operating on at least one
• Experience with agentic/AI-assisted delivery tooling and AI SDLC / AI software factory delivery model
• Hands-on technical depth to contribute to deliverables on the engaged project
• Experience mentoring delivery managers and contributing to onboarding materials or delivery playbooks
• Strong C-level stakeholder management and communication across multiple engagements
• Commercial acumen: experience owning margins across engagements
• Ownership of the solution and ability to shape it on engagements at portfolio scale

Responsibilities

• Own the definition and delivery of the solution plus the commercial outcome for a portfolio of 2-4+ concurrent engagements
• Operate directly as the AI-Native DM on the portfolio's most complex or highest-risk engagements
• Define deliverables, acceptance criteria, or output SLA and measurement cadence for each engagement
• Mentor Senior AI-Native Delivery Managers on engagements they run
• Contribute engagement learnings into the delivery playbook
• Provide input into hiring criteria and interview loops for delivery roles
• Escalate and resolve delivery risk within the portfolio
• Manage the portfolio's margin attainment and change-order discipline across engagements
• Own client relationships at the C-level across the portfolio
