Job summary

Cisco's Americas AI Infrastructure and Connectivity group is seeking a Director of Sales Engineering to shape technical sales strategy across AI, cloud, and networking. You will lead a global, high-performing team, act as the technical voice in customer engagements, and drive validations and strategic wins.

This role emphasizes collaboration with executives, ecosystem partners, and analysts, building trusted relationships while guiding resource allocation and forecasting to accelerate Cisco’s AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or technical leadership within networking, data center, cloud-native, or AI/ML infrastructure domains.
• Experience leading large, geographically dispersed Sales Engineering or Solutions Architecture teams.
• Experience building and maintaining trusted relationships with C-suite executives, industry analysts, and ecosystem partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical sales strategy and execution for Cisco’s AI Infrastructure & Connectivity portfolio.
• Serve as the primary technical voice and drive high-stakes validations to win deals.
• Foster a high-performing, inclusive engineering organization aligned with business goals.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships and enable Cisco’s leadership in AI and cloud-native networking.
