Job summary

Code and Theory is seeking a Director of Implementation to own how the Machine lands inside customer and agency environments, scoping engagements, leading deployment, integrating with existing tooling, and driving adoption to measurable outcomes.

You will lead a team of implementation engineers and solution architects, translate customer requirements into deployment plans, and partner with platform engineering to surface gaps and feed real-world needs into the roadmap.

Qualifications

• Track record leading technical implementations for software products.
• Fluency across cloud, integrations, and APIs to architect deployments.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer-facing delivery experience.
• People leadership in matrixed or cross-functional structures.
• Bias toward adoption and outcomes with deployment-focused mindset.
• Experience using AI-enabled development tools to accelerate engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end implementation of the Machine across customer and agency environments, from technical scoping through deployment, integration, and adoption – write code and drive delivery.
• Stand up and lead a team of implementation engineers and solution architects, setting delivery standards and accountability for quality and pace.
• Translate customer requirements into deployment plans, surface gaps, prioritize integrations, and feed real-world needs into the roadmap.
• Design integrations with tools customers already run (Figma, Slack, Teams, Adobe, dashboards) to fit their stack.
• Drive adoption past go-live, defining success metrics and guiding teams toward them with enablement and instrumentation.
• Coordinate reporting lines and expectations across engineering, account, and customer stakeholders.
