Job summary

Code and Theory, a digital-first creative agency, seeks a Director, Client Delivery to lead The Machine implementation portfolio—from budget and scoping through onboarding, delivery, and ongoing account health.

You will oversee the Implementation team, ensure timelines and staffing align with sold scope, and maintain client satisfaction across engagements while collaborating with Sales, Account, and Product leadership.

Qualifications

• Significant team leadership experience in a software implementations environment.
• Experience building commercial artifacts (Gantt charts, staffing plans, cost estimates).
• Experience managing distributed, cross-regional teams and coordinating across time zones.
• Direct experience owning client satisfaction outcomes; proactive communicator.
• Capability with AI tooling to enable your team to work more efficiently.
• Working fluency with delivery/ops tooling and data reconciliation across systems.
• Prior experience supporting a sales or proposal process directly (RFPs, SOWs, scoping).

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery end-to-end for The Machine implementations.
• Develop budgets and scoping materials for enterprise clients.
• Oversee onboarding, staffing, sequencing of build phases.
• Monitor productivity, blockers, and delivery velocity.
• Ensure client satisfaction; act as escalation point for delivery issues.
• Collaborate with Sales, Account, and Product for renewals and expansion signals.
