Job summary

d-Matrix is seeking a Director of Quality and Reliability Engineering for AI hardware. You will own product, supplier, manufacturing, and customer quality across ASIC, cards, servers, racks, and clusters.

This hands-on leader will build a world-class quality organization, ensuring high availability and customer confidence for data center AI systems. You will shape quality strategy, drive MTBF improvements, and partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Test, and Supply Chain to deliver reliable,

Qualifications

15+ years in hardware quality and reliability engineering.
5+ years leading multi-disciplinary teams.
BS/MS in EE/ME or related field.

Responsibilities

Build and scale the QMS including control plans and CAPA governance across product lines.
Design and run RMA, reverse logistics and failure analysis processes with closed-loop feedback into design and manufacturing.
Drive reliability programs (qualification, RDT, MTBF, ORT) and fault-tolerant design for AI datacenter availability.
Establish supplier and manufacturing quality programs with audits, process controls and NPI readiness.
Lead Component Engineering for board-level products including qualification and lifecycle management.
Define quality KPIs and dashboards and report to executive leadership.
Serve as the quality voice in product release, shipments, audits, and escalations; build and develop the quality organization for volume shipments and Rack Scale solutions.
