Job summary

Blend360 is seeking a Director of AI Engineering to own end-to-end AI model development, shaping technical strategy and delivering business impact from concept to production. You will lead a team of AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and MLOps specialists with client-facing responsibilities and strategic influence.

You will drive the AI roadmap, establish best practices, and champion reproducible experimentation, governance, and responsible AI across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Statistics/Math; PhD preferred.
• 10+ years in data science and ML with 3–5 years in leadership.
• Proven record leading AI/ML teams in fast-paced environments.
• Hands‑on with designing/training custom transformers from scratch.
• Strong skills in Python, ML/DL libraries, and model governance.

Responsibilities

• Define technical investments aligned to business objectives.
• Mentor AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and MLOps staff.
• Partner with cross‑functional leaders to prioritize initiatives.
• Lead design of deep learning architectures and production ML pipelines.
• Drive MLOps: deployment, monitoring, retraining and governance.
