Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Director of AI Enablement to set strategic direction for AI integration across a major business segment. You will bridge AI capabilities with business priorities and provide teams with the tools and frameworks to drive measurable outcomes.

You will lead cross-functional enablement programs, develop KPIs, and partner with enterprise architecture to scale AI solutions, while guiding talent development and workforce strategy.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree or higher in CS, data science, business or related field.
• 10+ years in AI or digital transformation roles, with tech/product background.
• Strong knowledge of ML, NLP, generative AI; experience with cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-impact AI opportunities with leaders and stakeholders.
• Translate challenges into strategic AI initiatives and enablement roadmaps.
• Lead planning/deployment of AI programs ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Maintain a backlog of AI opportunities and ensure alignment with goals.
• Ensure initiatives follow governance, regulatory, and ethical AI practices.
• Promote AI literacy and drive organizational change across the enterprise.
