Job summary

AbbVie in the United States is seeking an Associate Director of Procurement Category Management. You will partner with VP-level stakeholders to develop global procurement strategies for AI and Emerging Technologies, aligning with governance and risk requirements, while shaping a capability playbook to drive best practices in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Mgmt, Technology or related field; Masters preferred.
10+ years in procurement, supply chain, technology, consulting or related field.
Experience leading category teams and reporting to senior leaders.
Strong negotiation and bidding experience.
Ability to manage complex cross-functional projects and change management.
Excellent stakeholder management and influence.

Responsibilities

Partner with VP-level stakeholders to develop global procurement strategies for AI and Emerging Technologies.
Drive innovation and lead complex programs from strategy through implementation.
Create capability playbook, negotiation strategy and deployment training for the procurement team.
Lead SRM strategies and mitigate procurement risk.
Drive end-to-end procurement process from sourcing to contract execution.
Lead supplier roadmaps and negotiations.
Manage cross-functional teams to deliver strategic category projects.
Use data analytics to drive continuous improvement and cost savings.
