Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience across talent management, organizational development, learning and development, or related disciplines.
• Including 4+ years leading and developing people
• Deep expertise in talent management—including performance, career architecture, talent planning, and succession
• Strong leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and change management capabilities
• Credibility with senior leaders and ability to lead through ambiguity and influence
• AI-first approach to work with hands-on experience building multi-step workflows and applying AI in people processes

Responsibilities

• Set and own Thumbtack’s multi-year Talent and Organizational Development strategy with measurable outcomes.
• Evolve performance definitions, goal setting, feedback, calibration, and accountability.
• Maintain and evolve career architecture, role/level frameworks, and career paths.
• Lead talent planning and succession to address future organizational needs.
• Design scalable development experiences to close capability gaps and strengthen manager effectiveness.
• Apply an AI-first approach to workflows that scale insight, personalization, and capability development.
• Establish an integrated measurement framework using business, talent, and program data to evaluate impact.
