Job summary

Flex, a NYC-headquartered fintech, seeks a strategic leader to build and own its Financial Systems & Transformation function. You will manage the ERP, P2P, and AI-powered workflows, and lead ITGC and controls readiness to scale with the business.

Based in New York, this hybrid role partners with Finance, Engineering, and AI Central to turn the vision into reality, guiding FP&A tooling, data governance, and automated reporting across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in financial systems, accounting technology, or a closely related field in high-growth environments.
• Deep ERP expertise with go-live, integration design, configuration, and post-live optimization (NetSuite, Campfire, Sage Intacct, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, month-end close, and financial reporting to translate requirements into systems design.

Responsibilities

• Own the ERP (Campfire) configuration, close module, COA governance, and system health.
• Manage P2P systems for AP and T&E; assess enhancements and tooling strategy as we scale.
• Lead integrations between core financial systems and data sources; coordinate payroll integration with HRIS.
• Serve as internal product owner for financial systems enhancements with vendors and tech teams.
• Partner with Strategic Finance on FP&A tooling and finance planning.
• Evaluate and administer additional tooling for reporting, SOX, and reconciliations.
• Design AI-powered workflows for finance, focusing on automation and accuracy.
• Maintain ITGCs, access controls, change management, and audit-trail documentation.
