Job summary

Siemens Software in Canada seeks a Director of Software Engineering – Applied AI & Agentic EDA Innovation to drive the AI-native vision across the semiconductor and electronics design lifecycle. You will lead production deployment of generative and agentic AI capabilities grounded in physics-based EDA engines.

You will guide cross-functional teams, align roadmaps with Solido, Calibre, Questa One, Tessent, and more, and engage strategic customers to translate bottlenecks into product

Qualifications

• Advanced degrees in computing, engineering, or math.
• Experience leading commercial EDA platforms or AI-enabled engineering systems.
• Strong executive customer engagement and cross-divisional delivery.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the AI roadmap for generative and agentic capabilities.
• Partner with R&D, product management, and platform teams across the portfolio.
• Lead customer engagements, design reviews, and technical evaluations.
• Architect scalable agent runtimes and tool integrations with policy governance.
