Job summary

Siemens EDA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the QuestaSim (Simulation) R&D team. You will architect and develop advanced AI/ML and agentic AI solutions powering industry-leading simulation tools.

Lead end-to-end AI systems, collaborate with engineering leaders, and drive architecture patterns for enterprise deployments while solving complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven industry software engineering experience with AI/ML focus
• Experience architecting and delivering enterprise-scale AI/ML solutions
• Strong Python proficiency and experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or Scikit-learn
• Deep knowledge of LLM-based systems, Agentic AI frameworks, RAG architectures
• Experience developing AI agents that interface with tools or external APIs
• Foundations in algorithms, data structures and API design
• Familiarity with containerization and DevOps practices is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI/ML and Agentic AI solutions for design/verification tools
• Build scalable AI platforms using LLMs, Agentic Frameworks, MCP, LangGraph, vector databases, and RAG tech
• Develop intelligent agents with tool usage, automation, reasoning and autonomous tasks
• Evaluate AI technologies, models, frameworks, and infrastructure aligned to product goals
• Architect end-to-end AI systems including data pipelines and deployment strategies
• Collaborate with leaders and domain experts to turn ideas into production-grade solutions
