Job summary

Milltown Partners is seeking an Associate Director in San Francisco to join our growing US team. You’ll lead client relationships, shape strategic direction, and deliver high‑impact advisory work across technology, investors, sports, and entertainment.

You’ll supervise teams, coach colleagues, contribute to new business opportunities, and help expand our AI‑driven approach to communications. This hands‑on role rewards leadership, collaboration and rigorous client service.

Qualifications

• Approximately 8+ years in corporate communications in consultancy or in‑house roles, with tech or investor clients.
• Ability to take strategic approach to reputation challenges using research, data and insight.
• Experience building advisory relationships with senior stakeholders and delivering counsel under pressure.
• Experience leading integrated campaigns and managing media networks.

Responsibilities

• Lead client work and take strategic responsibility for key communications challenges.
• Drive teams, delegate effectively, and coach colleagues to develop advisory instincts.
• Contribute to AI‑enhanced advisory, sharing best practices across the firm.
• Support business development and nurture external networks for growth.
• Shape a culture of feedback, inclusion and collaboration within the US team.
