Job summary

Equinix seeks a Director of Product Software Architecture and Engineering to build and lead a new DevOps team delivering an AI and container management service. You will partner with product management to define requirements, SLA objectives, and align with global ordering and back-office systems for self-service.

Director-level experience managing managers and delivering multiple software products or services.
Proven experience leading DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE teams.
Strong operational experience in delivering a highly available global service.

Responsibilities

Define the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for Equinix's AI and Container Management Service.
Lead DevOps processes for Kubernetes/OpenShift-based managed services and ensure scalability.
Drive automation across provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
Collaborate with networks, infrastructure, and security for seamless integration.
