Job summary

Qualifications

• Director-level experience managing managers.
• Proven experience leading DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering teams.
• Strong and demonstrable operational experience providing a highly available global service.
• Experience delivering Kubernetes or OpenShift-based infrastructure and operating it at scale.
• 15+ years professional experience in a software development leadership role.
• Bachelor's in Engineering preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design decisions for Kubernetes/OpenShift-based managed services.
• Ensure platform scalability, resiliency, security, and operational readiness.
• Drive automation across provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Partner with network, infrastructure, and security teams to integrate with Equinix's global platform.
• Define technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for AI and Container Management Service.
• Establish SLOs, standards, and governance.
• Drive cloud-native best practices across teams.
• Build and lead a global engineering and DevOps organization.
