Job summary

Valerie Health in San Francisco is seeking a Director of Agent Operations to build and lead the team that deploys AI agents for complex healthcare workflows. You’ll own delivery from discovery through launch, collaborating with Engineering, Product, and customer teams to translate client implementations into reusable tools that scale.

You’ll hire and develop staff, set priorities and quality standards, and help solve problems across code, APIs, and data.

Qualifications

6–10+ years across consulting, strategy & operations, or related roles, with leadership experience at a high-growth startup.
Experience leading teams and hiring.
Experience with customer-facing interactions and expectation setting.
Troubleshoot workflows across code, APIs, and data; ship reliable customer-specific code with AI tooling.
Strong analytical approach to problems and impact.
Ability to deliver quickly across technical and nontechnical teams.

Responsibilities

Build and lead the team.
Translate customer needs into reliable AI agents.
Own agent delivery from design to production.
Expand automation after launch and reduce manual work.
Drive cross-functional execution across Engineering, Product, Customer Strategy, and Operations.
