Job summary

Project for Pride in Living (PPL) seeks a Director of Property Management to lead its affordable housing portfolio with strategic and operational excellence. You will partner with the Senior Director, guide Regional Managers, and drive occupancy, financial performance, compliance, and resident services across the portfolio.

The role emphasizes accountability, cross-functional collaboration, and asset preservation, while leveraging Yardi and reporting tools to inform decisions and support

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, finance, public administration, nonprofit management, or related field.
• Seven to ten years of progressive property management experience, including leadership of property managers.
• Significant experience managing affordable housing portfolios (HUD/LIHTC/HOME/Section 8).

Responsibilities

• Establish operational standards and best practices to promote consistency and excellence.
• Monitor property performance metrics and develop action plans to improve outcomes.
• Support Regional Managers in occupancy, leasing, resident retention, rent collection, and vacancy reduction.
