Job summary

UAB Medicine in Alabama seeks an experienced executive clinical leader to develop and lead an advanced practice operational and strategic infrastructure. You will guide APRN and PA teams, ensure high-quality, cost-effective care, and align practice with organizational goals.

The role oversees budgets, billing, and productivity benchmarks, with responsibilities expanding to over 100 providers. Weekend/holiday on-call may be required; a Master’s in Nursing or PA degree and current certifications

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing, or a graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Anesthesia program, or a graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Seven years of related experience required.
• Licensed/Certified: CRNP PA-C with BLS required; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced practice providers across the continuum and oversee applicable budgets and performance.
• Collaborate with senior clinical and administrative staff to establish mission, strategic plan, budgets, and policies for advanced practice.
• Oversee practice-based learning and improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with central policies and procedures.
