Qualifications

• Requires a BS degree in Engineering, Ceramics, Metallurgy, Chemical, Materials Science or related field.
• MBA preferred.
• Knowledge of scientific method, refractory raw materials, product development and manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication skills to present technical topics to external parties.
• Ten+ years in refractory offerings development and subject matter expertise.
• Five+ years supervising technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and improved offerings in collaboration with product management and marketing teams.
• Provide technology support for existing materials and HWI product offerings.
• Maintain materials roadmaps and updated technical specs for raw material categories.
• Lead technology teams in internal and external fundamental research.
• Supervise and develop direct reports with safety as a priority.
• Monitor competitive offerings and external tech developments relevant to HWI materials.
