Job summary

The American Arbitration Association seeks a Director of ADR Services to drive business development and regional outreach for Seattle and surrounding areas. You will promote AAA-ICDR’s dispute resolution solutions and manage complex arbitration and mediation caseloads, while nurturing client relationships and coordinating with industry partners.

The role requires 3–5 years in a business development setting, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and strong MS Office and CMS skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, legal, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of related business development experience, preferably in Legal Services; equivalent mix accepted.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to grow AAA's ADR services; develop business plans and pitches.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, and industry partners; serve as resource for dispute resolution.
• Develop and deliver presentations to stakeholders to communicate AAA's value proposition.
• Analyze needs and metrics from CRM, case management systems, and surveys to improve service quality.
• Respond to inquiries about AAA's ADR services; recruit panel members per AAA criteria; participate in reviews.
• Review regional markets and key sectors to guide strategy; assist arbitrator training and events.
• Attend hearings and trainings; maintain reliable attendance and professionalism.
• Serve as primary case management contact; manage cases and ensure data integrity in CMS.
• Advise arbitrators on procedural hearing management and related issues; coordinate scheduling.
