Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily Admissions Department operations.
• Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management for admissions staff.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels to support daily operations.
• Oversee patient screening and pre-admission processes with clinical data review.
• Coordinate with physicians, nursing, and admin leadership to manage admissions priorities.
• Manage bed availability, occupancy, and patient flow to ensure continuity of care.
• Develop and improve workflows, procedures, and service standards.
• Monitor admissions data, referrals, and outcomes to identify improvements.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, documentation, patient safety, and quality controls.
• Handle sensitive patient, family, or customer situations professionally and compassionately.
• Resolve admissions conflicts involving clinical priorities and bed availability.
• Build relationships with internal departments and external referral partners.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and development of Admissions staff.
