Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or related field preferred.
• Two years of experience in admissions, marketing, or sales within a healthcare setting, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
• Strong understanding of the skilled nursing and long-term care industry.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with referral sources and community partners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• This is a salaried/exempt position.

• Monitor and analyze census trends and develop plan of action to address census challenges.
• Identify potential referral sources and build strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, community organizations, and other healthcare providers.
• Represent the facility at community events, health fairs, and other outreach events to promote the facility and its services.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the facility can meet the needs of incoming patients.
• Conduct facility tours for prospective patients and their families, providing information about services, amenities, and care options.
• Other duties as necessary for the successful operation of the facility.

As the Director of Admissions, you will play a crucial role in upholding our commitment to Care Beyond Compare by effectively managing and maintaining our census. Your primary responsibility will be to support patients and their families during the transition from acute care to post-acute care, providing guidance and assistance throughout the process. This role demands excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will serve as the main point of contact between the healthcare team, patients, and their families. You will evaluate potential admissions, collaborate with various departments to ensure a smooth admission process, and implement strategies to attract and retain patients.
