University of California, Riverside seeks a Director of Administrative Operations, DEI to lead the VC DEI's office, coordinating operations and implementing strategic priorities. You will advise on controversial issues, manage complex projects, and work with internal and external partners to meet organizational goals.

The Director of Administrative Operations, DEI is the principal liaison between the Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (VC DEI), internal Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (ODEI) staff, campus committees, and external/community partners. Reporting to the VC DEI, the Director of Administrative Operations, DEI oversees, directs, and coordinates the operations of the Vice Chancellor’s office and is responsible for implementing the unit’s strategic business priorities and advises the VC DEI on controversial issues, existing problems, and matters with policy and programmatic impacts and recommends solutions. The Director of Administrative Operations, DEI exercises sound judgment in making significant decisions regarding project/business priorities and the order to accomplish them to ensure that the organization’s needs, objectives, and overall goals are met and achieved. The full salary range for the Director of Administrative Operations, DEI is $97,364.48 - $142,462.15 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $117,000 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
Master's degree in related area or equivalent experience/training.
6 - 10 years of related experience.
Project management experience.
Experience supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within a higher education environment.
