Job summary

Kavaliro is seeking a Director of Accounts Payable to provide strategic leadership over AP operations, payments, and expense processing in the United States. The role drives governance, internal controls, and policy development, partnering with Finance, Treasury, and IT to ensure compliant, timely disbursements.

The position requires the ability to lead a team, manage complex processes, and advance automation with Workday as the functional lead for supplier accounts and expenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field required.
• 5+ years in accounting/finance with AP leadership experience.
• Proven ability to manage teams and implement controls.
• ERP experience with Workday is required; AP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and governance of AP operations.
• Establish policies, controls and procedural standards.
• Oversee disbursements, reimbursements and payments processing.
• Lead Workday-based supplier accounts, banking, settlements and expenses.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Coordinate audits, regulatory reviews and reporting (1099, 1042).
• Partner with Finance, Treasury, Procurement, IT and other functions.
• Develop staffing plans and foster team development.
