Responsibilities

• Oversee ERP optimization initiatives, integrations, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Oversee the general ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Ensure GAAP compliance, company policies and internal controls.
• Serve as the primary Oracle NetSuite expert for the organization.
• Configure and maintain NetSuite workflows, saved searches, dashboards, reports, roles, permissions, and customizations.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements across accounting and finance.
• Partner with Finance, IT, Operations, and executive leadership to enhance system capabilities and reporting.
• Develop scalable accounting processes to support growth.
• Manage and mentor accounting staff with a hands-on leadership approach.

Director of Accounting Position Summary

The Director of Accounting will oversee core accounting operations, financial reporting, and the month-end close process while serving as the organization's primary Oracle NetSuite subject matter expert. This is not a pure people management role. We are seeking a highly hands-on leader who understands NetSuite inside and out and has personally configured, administered, optimized, and supported the platform in a growing organization.

Ideal Candidate

This individual is more than an accounting leader. They are a true Oracle NetSuite power user who knows the platform inside and out. They have personally configured and administered NetSuite, led system improvements, and served as the go-to resource for ERP-related accounting processes. Director of Accounting Key Responsibilities

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with increasing leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting operations.
• Proven experience administering, configuring, and optimizing NetSuite environments.
