Menarini Stemline seeks a Director of Accounting to lead the monthly close, financial reporting, and internal control enhancements. You will architect robust processes, partner with Corporate IT and Tax, and provide actionable insights to executives.

The role demands deep US GAAP knowledge, 15 years of accounting experience, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• MBA or CPA license strongly preferred.
• Experience in public accounting and/or pharmaceuticals industry preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of recent financial reporting, with at least 15 years in Financial Accounting.
• Advanced knowledge of US GAAP.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills.
• Ability to provide leadership and manage personnel.

Responsibilities

• Direct the preparation of comprehensive financial statements, ensuring month-end close schedules and executive-level accuracy.
• Govern the general ledgers, accounts payable, revenue distribution, fixed assets, operating expenses, and insurance records.
• Manage cash flows working with Corporate HQ on cash needs and cash balance management.
• Perform analytical review of financial results and understand factors driving variances.
