Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County seeks a Director of Accounting to lead day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with funding requirements. You will partner with the Vice President of Finance and supervise a finance team to support audits and fiscal reviews.

Responsibilities include managing complex transactions, budgeting support, and improving financial controls and processes to enhance organizational performance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or certification preferred in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Four to six years of related nonprofit financial management or accounting experience.
• Minimum of two years of supervisory experience, including team leadership and coaching.

• Provide leadership and oversight of accounting functions and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and funding requirements and support audits.
• Supervise finance staff and develop the capabilities of the accounting team.
• Manage complex accounting transactions including restricted revenue and net assets.
• Assist VP of Finance with budgets and financial planning and participate in audits and fiscal reviews.
• Improve internal controls and financial processes for efficiency and risk mitigation.
