Job summary

CFS is seeking a Director of Accounting & Financial Systems to lead accounting operations while owning the financial systems landscape. You will manage the general ledger, close cycles, and reconciliations, and drive ERP enhancements, integrations, and automation across finance and operations.

This role emphasizes process improvement, internal controls, and reliable reporting to support project-driven financials and growth in a dynamic construction-related environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting and finance experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Hands-on ERP administration, implementation, or system optimization experience.
• Experience driving automation to improve processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations: GL, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Own ERP administration, system enhancements, integrations, and ongoing optimization.
• Identify opportunities to automate accounting workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Enhance reporting, data integrity, and financial visibility across the organization.
• Partner with accounting, operations, and project leadership to strengthen processes and controls.
• Drive system improvements, documentation, and user adoption.
