Titan is a venture-backed AI holding company transforming IT services through an augmented-AI platform, scaling via General Catalyst's AI-enabled roll-up strategy - building purpose-built AI and then acquiring and operating managed service providers (MSPs) across multi-entity, multi-currency operations in the U.S. and Europe, supported by an offshore accounting team.

The Director of Accounting will own the integrity of Titan's financial statements - accounting policy, the general ledger, the month-end close, technical accounting, consolidations, controls, and audit. This is a hands-on, build-and-turnaround role for a leader who can design the target-state accounting function and clean up the current state.
Key Responsibilities
Close & Consolidation
- Build and own a formal month-, quarter-, and year-end close - including a day-by-day close calendar, checklists, and clear ownership - moving the function from reactive to disciplined.
- Own the consolidation and deliver timely, accurate consolidated financial statements across all entities in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
General Ledger & Balance Sheet
- Own GL integrity and reconcile the balance sheet; remediate legacy unreconciled accounts, opening-balance-sheet carryforwards, and mis-posted or unsupported journal entries.
- Establish journal-entry standards with proper documentation, support, and dimensions.
- Standardize the chart of accounts and dimensional structure across entities to enable consolidated, comparable reporting.
Intercompany & International
- Own intercompany accounting and monthly eliminations (rather than annual true-ups), including FX; ensure intercompany revenue and balances eliminate correctly.
- Oversee international accounting for the foreign entities and the offshore accounting team; manage multi-currency consolidation, VAT/entity setup, and transfer-pricing documentation in coordination with external advisors.
Technical Accounting & Policy
- Own accounting policy and serve as the platform’s U.S. GAAP authority for the financial statements; provide independent review and concurrence on significant revenue-recognition (ASC 606) judgments and disclosures owned by the Director of Revenue; and own leases (ASC 842), equipment revenue / risk-of-loss, capitalization and R&D, and purchase accounting for acquisitions.
- Draft and maintain technical accounting memos and positions.
Governance & Controls
- Design and own the accounting control framework and maintain segregation of duties.
- Own policy governance across accounting processes and entities.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Own accounts receivable end to end - collections, cash application, credit, AR aging, and bad debt - consolidating AR onto Versapay; own accounts payable processing, consolidating onto Stampli, each to a single owner.
- Partner with the Director of Revenue, who produces the clean, accurate, timely invoicing that enables effective collections.
- Remediate accrual gaps (e.g., COGS/vendor timing) and implement supporting processes such as a PO process in NetSuite.
- Prepare the company’s financial statements and stand up audit-ready processes, schedules, workpapers, and controls for Titan's first-time external audit (fiscal years 2025 and 2026); lead the external audit as primary liaison.
- Support coordination of tax filings prepared by external providers; support investor and board reporting and future lender/covenant compliance.
Systems & Technology
- Own NetSuite as the single system of record for accounting; drive data integrity and process design.
- Lead the migration of StoredTech and future acquisitions from legacy ERP to NetSuite, then standardize accounting processes after migration.
- Champion automation, AI, and technology solutions that improve accounting efficiency while maintaining strong financial controls.
- Manage and develop the accounting team, including the International Accounting Manager, and develop future finance leaders.
- Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and challenge legacy processes.
- Partner effectively across Sales, Operations, IT, and Executive Leadership.
- Lead through change in a rapidly growing acquisition platform.
Priorities in the First 12 Months
- Stand up a formal, repeatable close with a published calendar and controls; reduce close time to 5 business days.
- Reconcile the balance sheet and intercompany accounts; lock historical periods and establish clean carryforwards.
- Standardize the chart of accounts and dimensions across entities; enable monthly consolidated reporting with intercompany eliminations.
- Support and complete the StoredTech migration to NetSuite by the end of FY2026.
- Establish the accounting control framework, journal-entry standards, and policy governance.
- Prepare the financials, schedules, and controls for - and successfully deliver - Titan's first-time external audit (FY2025-2026).
