Job summary

Awake Solutions is seeking a Director of Accounting to lead our finance organization and drive accurate GAAP reporting from the head office. You will oversee month-end close, consolidate statements, and ensure internal controls align with growth-stage needs.

You will manage accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and treasury functions while partnering with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy. This role demands strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of accounting experience; strong GAAP knowledge and reporting experience.
• Excellent analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset.
• Experience leading a finance team and coordinating with external auditors.

Requirements

• 8+ years of accounting experience; public accounting, SaaS/tech experience preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and experience with accounting systems/ERP (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise).
• Experience leading a finance team and working with external auditors.
• Excellent analytical skills and a results-oriented approach.
