Client: Global Media Brand
Role: Senior Director of Accounting - (Temporary to Permanent)
Pay Rate: $80-$90/hr
Expected Salary: $185k - $200k when converting to a permanent employee!

Location: Midtown, Manhattan - Hybrid - 3 days a week onsite

Responsibilities:
Transformation
Contribute to the design and deployment of S/4 Hana, focusing on areas like Code Block Design, Fixed Asset Accounting, Intercompany transactions, Journal entries, and Reporting functionalities.
Optimize the utilization and adoption of enabling technologies, notably Blackline, and manage the Transformation Roadmap in collaboration with Finance stakeholders and IT.
Continuous Improvement
Support the identification and prioritization of Continuous Improvement initiatives that impact global Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
Control Environment
Establish and maintain a robust accounting control environment within Finance operations for R2R, working closely with the R2R Operations Lead and the Risk and Compliance team.
Policies & Procedures
Ensure the development and implementation of operational policies and guidelines that support business needs, in partnership with R2R operational leaders.
Contribute to the development of key accounting policies by the technical accounting team.
Collaborate with R2R operational leaders to ensure accurate operational procedures are in place.
Process
Design and implement master data governance across end-to-end processes within Global Finance Operations (GFO).
Collaborate with key stakeholders across the process to ensure it is "fit for purpose" and drive towards best practices, continuously monitoring market trends and bringing innovative approaches to the organization.
People
Lead the Global Process Owner (GPO) team, including the extended Accenture Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) team, and work collaboratively with the Accenture GPO lead.
Partner closely with the R2R GFO Operations VP to ensure cohesive thinking and plans that consider operational impacts.
Performance
Collaborate with the R2R Operations VP to align on key performance indicators (KPIs) for measuring end-to-end process performance and establish performance targets and Service Level Agreement (SLA) thresholds.
BPO Management
Provide support, guidance, and expertise to Onshore Operational Leadership in managing the relationship with the BPO Provider (Accenture).
