Our clients include a diverse mix of industry leaders in healthcare, hospitality, government, higher education, retail, and manufacturing facilities. Phigenics does not sell water treatment chemicals and is not biased toward any treatment technology or supplier.

Position Overview:

The Director of Account Managers will lead our account management team, drive customer success, and maximize expansion sales growth. This role will be responsible for overseeing key client relationships, developing account strategies, and ensuring the team meets and exceeds performance goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the account management team to drive exceptional client relationships and revenue growth.
  • Oversee key account strategies, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and expansion opportunities.
  • Develop and execute plans to maximize revenue from existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Establish KPIs for the account management team, monitor performance, and provide insights to leadership.
  • Partner with Enterprise Sales / Business Development, Marketing, and the Operations teams to align account strategies with company objectives.
  • Guide the team in contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and long-term agreements with clients.
  • Represent the voice of the customer internally, driving improvements in service, product offerings, and customer experience.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and the competitive landscape to refine account strategies andidentify growth opportunities

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and closing high-value deals.
  • Experience in technology, healthcare, or water management is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence C-suite executives and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and business development software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as required (up to 25%-50%).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
