Job summary

Houston Christian University seeks a Registrar and Director of Academic Records to lead the Office of Academic Records, oversee online registration, and maintain student records with responsibility over policy and data integrity.

This exempt role requires a Bachelor's degree, strong leadership and communication skills, and expertise in Banner SaaS and data reporting to support university programs and graduation processes.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor's degree and be able to perform all essential duties.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are required.
• Experience with data reporting and budget management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establishes organizational structure for the Office of Academic Records.
• Sets up registration tables for online registration and maintains Banner SaaS tables.
• Prepares grade sheets and final grades for online access.
• Enforces academic rules, monitors standing, and coordinates probations.
• Provides tech leadership for Banner Student, Degree Works, and software changes.
