Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in academic advising or related student support.
• Knowledge of student success resources and referral processes.
• Knowledge of First Year Experience and advising best practices.
• Experience collaborating with faculty and campus services to coordinate advising and interventions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the STAR program.
• Monitor STAR participation, registration, and attrition.
• Develop and maintain a peer advising program.
• Coordinate ongoing training for Central Advising advisors.
• Coordinate campus-wide advising training to promote consistent practices.
• Maintain an advising caseload for the Central Advising Program.
• Monitor communications to ensure timely responses.
• Promote Priority Registration with divisions.
• Manage the Retention Alert program and interventions.
