Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Director of Scientific and Operations Intelligence for Obesity and Related Conditions. You will own the Insights & Analytics agenda across R&D, Medical, Clinical Development, and operations, partnering with a global team to surface priorities, frame questions, and deliver data-driven recommendations to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 4 years directly managing people and/or leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior leaders across R&D, Medical, Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Supply, and related Operations.
• Lead priority work end to end: define the decision and hypotheses; determine the analytical approach; mobilize data, capabilities, and experts; synthesize findings; recommend a course of action; and track impact.
• Integrate scientific and operational information into decision-ready views of options, dependencies, uncertainties, and trade-offs.
• Build reusable decision products and analytical capabilities, including scenario models, evidence maps, risk dashboards, decision trees, and leading indicators.
• Build the long-term team and operating model, including intake and prioritization, governance, and delivery across global teams.
• Create a culture of analytical rigor, integrity, and accountability with strong data governance.
