Position Summary:
The Director, Nurse Educators, will serve as a key resource and be responsible for leading and directing the efforts of a team of field-based Regional Nurse Educators providing clinical education and training to healthcare professionals within a designated geographic region. This position determines the strategy and tactical plan for Nurse Educator team to ensure the team delivers on the annual objectives and initiatives.
This leadership role is essential for fostering strong relationships internally with cross-functional stakeholders, and externally with healthcare providers to ensure successful integration and utilization of the company’s therapies. The Director, Nurse Educators, will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, medical affairs, and commercial operations teams to design educational programs, workshops, and one-on-one sessions, ensuring that healthcare providers have a comprehensive understanding of the disease/disorder, and drug’s clinical application and benefits. The ideal candidate will be an experienced registered nurse with a passion for education, a deep understanding of clinical practice, and a strong interest in biotech innovations.
The position will be remote based and will report directly to the Vice President, Sales.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
These may include but are not limited to:
Develop nurse educator services strategy and lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the Nurse Educator Team, ensuring executional excellence.
Develop OKRs for the team, review expectations, and set clear performance objectives.
Develop mechanisms and processes to regularly monitor performance against goals.
Develop and maintain program SOPs, business rules, exceptions processes, workflows, scripting, training, and reports in partnership with legal/compliance.
Lead in the development and execution of Account Education plans that align with the Nurse Educator priorities/objectives.
Ensure the delivery of engaging education that meets the needs of the individual account and demonstrates an in-depth mastery of clinical, technical, product, and competitive landscape knowledge related to acromegaly.
Partner with sales to utilize data and cross-functional insights to determine engagement plan and territory management.
Provide clinical and nursing insights to Marketing and Commercial Training as applicable.
Ensure compliance by strictly following all Crinetics policies governing the promotion of pharmaceutical products in the US.

Education and Experience:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
12+ years of experience as an RN.
Active RN license is required.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in a previous leadership role of field-based nurse teams.
Expert knowledge and existing account relationships in endocrinology.
Ability to quickly learn disease state and product knowledge.
Strong relationship and partnership building skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to satisfy any onsite visitation requirements of healthcare facilities, including but not limited to vaccinations, drug screens, and background checks.
Valid driver’s license.
Preferred:
Advanced Practice Provider (MSN, NP, PA, DNP) degree preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Physical Activities: On a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; intermittently answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Some walking and lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate. Travel:
You may be required to travel for up to 40% of your time.

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is: $170,000 - $212,000.In addition to your base pay, our total rewards program consists of a discretionary annual target bonus, stock options, ESPP, and 401k match. We also provide top-notch health insurance plans for employees (and their families) to include medical, dental, vision and basic life insurance, 20 days of PTO, 10 paid holidays, and a winter company shutdown.
