Job summary

Urban Land Institute is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead the Greenprint program in North America, shaping strategy, expanding offerings, and building strong member networks.

You will host events, manage webinars, recruit members, collaborate with partners, and coordinate with finance to ensure smooth operations.

Ideal candidates have 7–8 years in program management at the intersection of CRE and sustainability, with LEED credentials preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 7–8 years of experience in program management or client-facing roles.
  • Experience at the intersection of commercial real estate and sustainability.
  • Ability to build credibility with sustainability leaders, investors, developers, owners, and partners.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing contractors to produce high-quality deliverables within budget.
  • Willingness to travel periodically, about four trips per year.
  • Preferred: LEED AP / LEED GA / WELL AP / Fitwel / ENV SP or similar credentials.
  • Preferred: advanced degree in sustainability, real estate, engineering, urban planning, public policy, environmental science, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Set and refine Greenprint program strategy and goals for North America
  • Curate and evolve program offerings to meet member needs
  • Build trusted relationships with members, prospective recruits, industry organizations, and partners
  • Represent Greenprint at industry events and ULI conferences, and host member events
  • Lead recurring member discussions on decarbonization and resilience topics
  • Plan and manage members-only webinars
  • Identify and recruit new members, onboard and invoice them, and integrate them into the community
  • Coordinate with Corporate Partners and Finance to support smooth member processes
  • Identify opportunities for program expansion, new service offerings, and strategic growth
  • Connect member needs with ULI research, pilots, tools, technical assistance, and industry engagement
  • Help evolve Greenprint storytelling across ULI communications channels
  • Review newsletters and external communications, including Urban Land articles
  • Contribute to the annual State of Green benchmarking exercise
  • Manage the Greenprint Innovation Partners Program
  • Help set the annual budget, monitor expenses with Finance, and improve program systems and processes
  • Build member trust and serve as a thought partner and co-creator for market transformation initiatives
