Job summary

RH is seeking a Leader of Architecture & Design to steer next-generation Design Galleries from concept to opening across Development, Design, Construction and internal partners. You will guide consultants and architects, develop design standards, and ensure quality, precision and operational excellence.

You will travel ~30% to sites, review submittals and FF&E, and collaborate with merchandising and operations to integrate requirements into project plans.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in large-scale, high-end retail or hospitality design.
• Experience managing concurrent projects through all design phases and gallery openings.
• College degree in architecture preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Google Workspace and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience presenting to executive leadership.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead ground-up design gallery projects from concept through opening.
• Direct onboarding of consultants and architects through planning and construction.
• Develop design standards and architectural details for new galleries.
• Own open design items and align with merchandising and operations.
• Collaborate with Construction to resolve on-site design challenges.
• Drive fixture design, development and FF&E procurement for key design elements.
• Conduct site visits and travel ~30%, feed feedback to future designs.
